Biography

     
 

    Fatma Abou-Chadi (BSc MSc DIC PhD Senior Member IEEE) is a Professor of Biomedical Signal Processing. She received her BSc degree (Honor) in Electrical Engineering (Communications), from the Faculty of Engineering, Ain-Shams University in 1974. In 1975, she  joined the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering Mansoura University as a research assistant, where she got the MSc degree in 1978.

  She obtained the PhD degree at Imperial College (London) in 1986, where she worked on the analysis of infant long-tern epidemiological and physiological signals (supervised by Prof. B. McA. Sayers, a Founder of the Engineering in Medicine Section, now based at Imperial College, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering). She is a Senior Member of IEEE and a Member in the Society of IEEE Women in Engineering.
